Our Story

Founded by Florida attorney and mediator Kayla Riera-Gomez, Sunshine State Mediation was built to offer a better alternative to expensive, time-consuming litigation.

Kayla saw firsthand how emotionally and financially draining lawsuits could become—for both parties and their legal teams. She knew there had to be a better way.

What started as a one-woman mediation practice is now a growing statewide firm trusted by attorneys across Florida to resolve cases effectively, professionally, and fairly.
